Tokyo Expands Multilingual Support at Subway Stations

Great news for travelers in Tokyo! The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is making it easier for foreign visitors and people with hearing impairments to communicate at subway stations. They’re adding VoiceBiz® UCDisplay®, a transparent display with real-time voice translation, to six more stations.

    • Toei Asakusa Line: Asakusa Station, Shimbashi Station

    • Toei Oedo Line: Shinjuku-Nishiguchi Station, Ueno-Okachimachi Station, Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station
  • Available From: The first train to the last train
